Why does my dog need an evaluation?
Every new dog begins with an evaluation before their first daycare or boarding stay. This allows us to get to know your dog, understand their personality, behavior, and routine, and learn about your care preferences.
The evaluation helps us determine the best care plan for your pet and ensures they have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience at MVP Resort.

Pick-up: Any time after the 3-hour evaluation, by 6 p.m..

General Boarding FAQs
How are boarding rates calculated?
Our boarding rate is calculated per night.
Who will watch my pet overnight?
Drift off to sleep knowing your pet is safe and secure at MVP Resort. While our team is not on-site overnight, our facility is fully protected with a state-of-the-art security system, including badge-only access, video surveillance, motion sensors, and continuous monitoring.
We also maintain remote temperature and humidity sensors to ensure a safe and comfortable environment at all times. With these systems in place, your pet rests in a secure, well-managed space throughout the night—giving you complete peace of mind.
Do you administer medications?
Yes.
Is veterinary care available during my pet's stay?
Absolutely. Because we are connected to Mainstay Veterinary Practice, veterinary care is available on-site if needed.
Dog Boarding FAQs
What should I bring for my dog’s boarding stay?
We recommend bringing your dog’s food and any medications. We request that you leave all bedding, blankets, toys, and non-medically necessary items safe at home. This ensures that your pet’s favorite belongings are ready for them when they return home from their staycation. The resort will provide all boarding pets with Kuranda beds.
How many potty breaks will my pet be allowed? Will they be walked outside?
Boarding guests receive regular off-leash potty breaks in our climate-controlled indoor facility. Dogs that do not participate in Daycare will get three (morning, mid-day, night) opportunities to play freely in our playroom, which has grass turf and a state-of-the-art drainage system.
Can my dog participate in Daycare while boarding?
Yes, if your dog is eligible for daycare at their evaluation, you can let us know when you want your dog to attend daycare.
